So we have moved into the new house. We are finally home owners. Yay! The air conditioner took a shit in 100 degree weather as a welcome to the neighborhood gift. (insert several unrepeatables here). The neighbors across the street are awesome. They brought over fans, they brought over ice, they mowed the huge yard with their ride on mower. Etc.
This Sunday is the house warming bbq. Hah! The hurricane be damned, I am having this party. Its a covered dish as Im so broke that it isn't funny. Be nice if the boss decided payroll was actually an important part of the week.
On a sad note, a very good friend of ours who passed away suddenly 5 years ago, his 12 year old son was killed when hit by a truck last week. The funeral/ memorial service was awfully sad.
I love my house.
