Guilt trips over sleep. Last Amy and Tink were here til Jamie got off from work, then the three of them stayed til 3:30 a.m. I was a little disappointed in Amy, as I had to tell her to warm Jamies dinner up before he got here. I figure it this way, he worked all night and put up with his sick ass Mother calling and Amy calling him, the least that she can do is warm his meal..sheesh. It isn't like she worked or even did anything to prepare to clean up after the meal. Oh well, I guess I am just old fashioned like that, she sure as hell kisses his ass in other ways though. I took a bunch of new pictures of the baby, but I haven't put them up on the web site yet. Today I was woken by my Mother screaming into the phone to "Get Up!". Let review for just a moment, I am in my 30's, have not just children of my own but a grandchild too. I have lived on my own for more years then I ever lived with her. I pay all my own bills. Ummm, come again .. I need to get up why? Hmpf. I was so pissed. So then she starts giving me a lecture.. not the best idea... coffee would have been much better. Every so often I remember clearly why I live so far away from her and any other members of the family. This morning those reasons were very clear and defined. Ohh then later she called me while I was just finishing my MicroEconomic's test for this week and had submitted it. This is my only online class this term. So I got excited as I scored a 100 on it. She had the nerve to ask me if I cheated! I grumbled at her "No Ma, I actually earn my A's, I know it escapes you that I do so well in college as you never thought that was possible but I do study, thank you very much." And she got offended ... again! She says "Oh I never thought you were stupid, Penny, I just know that college is very difficult , thats all". (insert eye rolling). Then she adds her little twist of "And I thought having missed so much school this term, you might be behind." Well, I am not behind, cause I oh worked my ass off to catch up. Hmpf Speaking of sleep, well sorta, I am still tired. I been dragging ass all day. I have class in the morning. Off to dream of something fun, preferably pink and sparkling.
